We are excited to share some amazing news from the World BMX Racing Titles in France. Congratulations to Cam Gatt (Year 8) for powering through pain to place 5^th in the World for the Under 14’s.

Cam endured a crash in his 3^rd moto landing during qualifiers, destroying his front wheel and injuring his wrist, knee and taking skin from his back. Cam made it through to the final, with a Tasmanian rider lending Cam his wheel to use in the deciding event. Cam pushed through the pain and took it up to all other riders which shows a great deal of resilience, strength and determination.

What a phenomenal effort! What a Titan!

He has done himself, his family, his country and everyone here at Thomas Carr College very proud. Well done Cam!
