A lot has happened in the Mission space this term.

Our Social Justice team coordinated the Year 12 Superhero competition at the recentl Athletics Carnival and many Year 12 students who were in costume participated. Students and teachers across the school purchased tokens to vote for their favourite costume. Congratulations to the costume “Cars” winning the overall prize. All money raised has been donated to the Catholic Charity Caritas. Thank you to Cecile Pitpit and Shauna Feehan for their help throughout the day. 

This week, our Social Justice team had their last meeting for Term 1. It was a shorter meeting as we reflected back on the term and also acknowledged our unity within our diversity, by walking over as a team to the smoking ceremony being held outside the Chapel as part of Harmony Week. 

A reminder to students that Social Justice team meetings are held every Thursday Week B during lunchtime in B1. All are welcome!
