We are halfway through the Advent season; a time to reflect as we prepare to celebrate Christ’s birth at Christmas and the return of Christ during the second coming. The Advent season reminds us of the important role Christ plays in our lives, encouraging us to slow down, within, what is a very busy time of year, and consider what is important in life. May the weeks ahead be full of hope, faith, joy and peace for all in our community.
Today marks the end of the school year for our teachers, with students finishing up last week. Our students approached their Headstart program with maturity and focus, setting them up for a successful start to 2025. It is a good indication of the year we have had. 2024 has seen our students step-up to the challenges we presented them with, as we introduced some new ways of working and interacting. Earlier this week, as a staff, we reflected on the year and celebrated many successes. As a community, we have grown together through the introduction of Welcome Circles and a number of Consistent Predictable Routines. This year our aims have been to build learning-focused environments, create collaborative teams for staff and build the leadership capacity for our leaders. Of course, so much more has been achieved too! Thank you to all members of our community for your support and contributing to what makes us the TCC community.
As the year comes to a close for our staff, we farewell a number of members of our community who are moving onto new leadership opportunities, working closer to home or going on exciting adventures.

We wish them all the very best as they enter this next chapter in their careers and are grateful for their contributions.
I would also like to take this opportunity to reiterate my thanks to all our staff for their continued support and care for the young people at our school. Our staff are dedicated and serve our students with enthusiasm. I am forever grateful for them.
I wish you all the joys and blessings of Christmas. May the break be relaxing and rejuvenating for you all. We welcome 2025, allowing us the opportunity to continue realising God’s plan for each of us.
Take care.
