As our students enter their senior years, we assist them in working towards their post-school goals, whether they aim for university entry, a trade pathway, a traineeship, or employment. We are committed to ensuring that our students are motivated and focused on their goals and become lifelong learners. We continue to develop and build our students’ confidence in themselves, to support them in working towards their best and their success, so they can shine beyond Thomas Carr College.
As your child reaches their senior years at Thomas Carr College, their options and pathways expand, making it possible to achieve success in a number of post-school opportunities. Whichever opportunity they wish to pursue, we have ways to help them achieve this.
The Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) is the pathway most students take. However, for our learners who prefer an applied way of learning, the Victorian Certificate of Education Vocational Major (VCE VM), is also offered to achieve a senior secondary qualification.
At Thomas Carr College, we work with families and students to assist in making the choice which best suits the student, supports them in achieving their personal goals, and sets them up for an educational or working life post-school.
