Thomas Carr College has a number of feeder Primary Schools within its College Community:
Throughout the course of the school year, the College runs a number of events to connect with the feeder primary schools. The College invites the Grade 5 students from each school to come across for the duration of the school day for Grade 5 visits. Primary school students are given the opportunity to have a look around the College and engage in classes and curriculum similar to what they would do in Year 7.
The College also runs a transition program to ensure that the primary school students transition from primary school to secondary school with ease. Included in this, is the Orientation Day held in December where primary school students are given the opportunity to meet their new peers and begin forging relationships with other students and teachers.
